Mary SayadDear Ray and Nancy, My husband, Elias and I, and my recently widowed sister-in-law, Antoinette, visited the Rosary House this past Friday, September 3. I was very happy to see that it was a packed house. It was especially heart warming to note the various ages of the faithful present reciting the rosary with deep reverence. During our return home, we experienced an unexpected incident. Suddenly, there was a soft floral fragrance in our car. Initially, it was light and mildly perceptable but then it became very evident. I mentioned it to my sister-in-law, who was seated in the back of the car, and she too was very aware of it. It was very joyful for us to realize that Jesus and Mary sent us this gift of fragrance. We were all very grateful and humbled. Perhaps this was a tiny miracle, but we all appreciated the love and graciousness of our Blessed Mother. I wish to personally express my gratitude for Ray's personal prayers and especially for his time, devotion and committment to the community. Nancy and the Ray of Hope Foundation staff work unceasingly to promote fidelity to the rosary of the Blessed Mother. Reciting the rosary with the meditations is reliving the Gospels. In order to grow spiritually and with confidence, we must all relive the Gospels on a daily basis, receive the Sacraments of Penence and Eucharist regularly. Saint John Climacus reminds us - "Prayer is by nature a dialog and a union of man with God. Its effect is to hold the world together. It achieves a reconciliation with God." Sharing is caring; share your gift of faith by encouraging your families and friends to develop the habit of daily rosary recitals. The rosary is our strength against adversity in our personal lives and in the world. The rosary is a formidable weapon against the attacks of the devil! Once again, thank you. We must all continue to pray for world peace, for the safety of our troops.
