Hello, Deeni!
I'm not sure if you remember me, but my name is Laura Mullaney. My sister (and I occasionally) used to babysit for your children. I remembered what Sammi had gone through, and I found the paper with the article about it (The Shopper's Friend) as I had saved it. I have wanted to come to Ray's meetings, as my grandfather (not biologically, but in my heart) has been suffering with different types of cancer in different body parts for the past few years. He was on meds that were working, but the doctors hadn't diagnosed part of the cancer as a different kind and it spread. He still has it in his liver, some in the stomach, spots on the lung (and lymph nodes I think), some in the brain (which they think the radiation handled), and he was just diagnosed as having spots on the spine. The cancer keeps attacking different spots, and it seems like they're becoming less optimistic. He has suffered through radiation, and has just started a new type of chemo, as the other one wasn't working. He is too exhausted to do much, sick, a bit depressed, and scared. . .and my grandmother is terrified. Her and my grandfather divorced years ago, my step-grandfather died of a heart attack, and I don't know what'd she do without Bill, my grandfather {William (Bill) Spaan}. She is doing everything she can think of, and we are supporting them in any way we can, but I was hoping to do something more that would hopefully make a difference and give them the years together that they deserve! I thought maybe Ray's prayers, along with my family's, and some of the blessed oil would help. I would also like to come to one of the Rosary evenings. Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.
Anyway, I hope your family is doing well, and my sister sends her best. I hope that you are all enjoying the holiday season.

May I please have some Blessed oil? I have a 15 yr old son that has a rare disease called Muccopolysacharidosis.He is terminal and suffers tremendously.I believe I had an opportunity to meet Ray one time and my son was too ill to go.Ray did speak with me on the phone though.
I would really appreciate the oil as I have done everything possible to obtain a miracle for my son and can't manage to get one.Or perhaps I should say I have gotten many along the way just not the cure of my sons disease.So I use our sacramentals daily on him.Holy Water , oils and Blessed salt. Hi Ladies, I hope you all had a great holiday. I keep hoping to get up there for a rosary but it's been very hard....I ran into my neighborhood deli and my friend Liz's son's wife just had a baby girl. His wife had two miscarriages prior to this and unfortunately this pregnancy was very hard for her. The baby was born last Wednesday and she's having allot of trouble breathing. She was premature and weighs little over 4 lbs (they took her early because she was having complications). Her name is Eliana Francesca Belaj. Can you please ask Ray to keep her in his prayers. I told Eliana's grandma that I would say my prayers, and asked her to say the rosary. Also we received your thank you for the fundraiser but please tell Ray that it wasn't necessary because we should be thanking him (and you both) for all your prayers that have been said for me and my family. My name is Nancy. I was born and raised in NJ, but have lived in Arizona for the past six years. My wonderful friend, Carole, has been attending Ray's Wednesday evening prayers sessions and told me all about him this past weekend.
I was wondering if I could request a prayer from Ray? My beautiful 3 1/2 year old Grandbaby, Jenna Parziale, has been diagnosed as autistic. She and her parents live in Massachusetts, and do not get back to NJ very often.
Could Ray please pray for a healing of this very special little girl? My son, (her father) has had a life filled with horrible obstacles to overcome. He has had five open heart surgeries, numerous hospitalizations, and has recently conquered Hepatitis C after going through a terrible year of debilitating treatments. He received his diagnosis, the day his daughter came home from the hospital.
He is the kindest most loving person you will ever meet. He cannot do enough for people and that is seen in the devoted husband and father that he is. There is nothing he ever wanted more than to become a father and now that he is, his daughter cannot even show him love or understand how much he loves her. Please help.
If you need anymore information, please let me know. Bless you all for the work you are doing and I will pray that Ray can help with Jenna's issues. I will be sure to visit when I am back in NJ this spring. In the meantime, Carole is going to see Ray in the next week or two and will also mention Jenna to him.

Everyone, I just wanted to let you know, Michael is in the hospital at Jersey Shore, again. He had a grand maul siezure and a 105.1 fever last night and continued to sieze off and on until the fever broke this morning. He is having a battery of tests done and will be in the PICU for at least 3-4 days until they can wean him off the current siezure meds and try something new. I will keep you all posted. I am sending this on behalf of the family and friends of Joann Renda, of Belleville, NJ. She suffered a serious heart attack on Wednesday night, and is in a coma at Clara Maas Hospital. We need her to wake up as soon as possible, so that the doctors can go about treating her heart, it's very critical. If God willing, this can happen, we hope that she will be able to regain consciousness and her mind will have been largely spared damage. We appreciate any prayers and thoughts at this time. Joann is a wonderful person who attended mass all the time, and did not deserve this fate.

Please e-mail me the miraculous oil. Today was one of the worst days I have had in a long time. It's been over two years since my husband's horrible injury, which changed our lives forever. There are many people on this earth that need miracles, but I pray that we could have one. My faith has been strong, but I feel I'm loosing myself and my hope. I often feel that God isn't hearing my pleas-although I know that isn't true. It just may be the devil trying to step in and have me sell my sole in order to have my husband recover. That my sound strange-but I believe that is why so many things keep going wrong, and my faith is tested all the time. I am not giving up nor am I going to stop having faith. I would appreciate having the oil, and we will pray.

Kathy is a younger sister of our great friend Patricia who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and told recently that she has 6-8 months. She's been through chemo & radiation. She also has three young children. We were at a Rosary Prayer Meeting in 2002 in Jersey City and thoroughly believe in the fantastic power of prayer. We have told Patricia about the icon and the miracle oil on the cotton ball, which a friend had given to us for our so seemingly minor troubles. (I've had a tremendous knee replacement at 44 and our son Max is now in great health).

Would you be able to send us a cotton ball with the oil from tears that we'll give to Patricia for her sister. Do you also have a schedule of the next Rosary gathering and an address for the location.

This is Carol McDonald.

Please tell Ray that the conception he prayed for concerning my daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Scott, has blossomed into a beautiful 3 year old--very precocious, however, and a handful for Alison to manage. They now also have a 9 month old, Andrew, who is adorable and a very good baby. Now, would you believe, Alison is expecting their 3rd child the first of January 2007! She had postpartum depression after Sydney and was put on Effexor a month before the birth of Andrew and all went fine.

I'm sorry I didn't get to say hello to you at Jackie McDonald's wake, which I so badly wanted to do. If you want a Florida vacation, why don't you and your family plan to come visit us in the late spring (best time of year here)--we'd love to have you.

Now to get to another main reason for writing--my brother, Jack Schmidt, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would pray that he be granted supervised visitation with his sons, William and Matthew, as soon as possible. It's a sad long story too long to go into here, but his heart is very saddened that he hasn't seen his boys for 4 years--it has to do with a nasty divorce, plus other. They are about 9 and 11 now. It truly would be a miracle if he is able to see his sons, and we're asking for prayers in this matter. We have been praying for this, as well.

In 2005 Ray prayed with me for our daughter Elaine who had been diagnosed with breast cancer at age 38, she has three small children. I was absolutely devastated by this diagnosis as we had already lost a child to cancer in 1975!!! I asked for prayer and Ray called me and prayed with me over the phone for her healing. Over the past two years she has been through some pretty powerful chemo which she just finished in June. She is going into the hospital on Thursday to have her other breast removed, as the Dr has told her that the cancer, if it returns, would show up in her remaining breast. I am asking for prayer for her again, and for her family, that Mary would hold our daughter in her arms during the surgery and the recovery afterwards and that the cancer be completely gone from her body. I have some friends coming to the Rosary House on Wednesday and they are going to ask for prayer for her also. Not long ago, (approx 1 month) my sister and I asked for a prayer session with you and Ray. My father was very ill and we weren't sure if he would pull through. Well soon after we had the prayer session and Ray asked Mary and St. Ann for intercession on my father's behalf, he started to slowly recover. The severe infection he had in his blood is almost gone and he is in a much more stable state. He is no longer in the hospital. He is in a rehabilitation facility to help him to regain use of his left leg and hip (After his hip operation). The progress has been slow but it is happening!! I want to thank you for your prayers and assistance and I am requesting that you continue praying for my dad's full recovery. He can use all the prayers you can send.

Dear Deeni & Debbie: About two weeks ago, when my husband and I were out to dinner with our good friends, Angelo Verlingo and his wife Rosemary (my dearest girlfriend) and Phil Spanola and his wife, we started talking about the Ray of Hope Foundation. I was so thrilled to go into your web site and read so much about the wonderful work being done by all your prayers and by saying the Rosary daily. Having lived in Marion Section since I was 7 years old till I moved to Bergen County in 1974 (at the age of 41) I was so thrilled to read about all the news in your Web site. I am writing to request your prayers for so many needs of my family that it seems have hit us all at once. Please pray for my daughter who has recently had a hysterectomy, for a quick and speedy recovery as she has a husband and three daughters to take care of. Please help her each and every day while she is recuperating. We also have three nieces, all from the same family, that are presently going thru different health issues. My one niece who is my godchild is having her broken nose corrected in a New York hospital. This was due to a fall she recently had as she is diagnosed with osteo-petrosis, which is brittle bones. She can break or fracture easily, just by sneezing, coughing, etc. Her sister, my other niece is having a cat scan done of her lungs tomorrow as she also has a problem. She has three sons at home with her husband. My other niece is presently waiting to hear about a biopsy taken for a lump in her breast. Needless to say, we definitely need all the prayers we can be blessed with. I also have a 14 year old grandson who was diagnosed as autistic when he was a couple of months old. To this day, he has not spoken a word. He cannot speak and just makes sounds. It is so hard for my daughter and her husband as now my grandson Brian is entering puberty age. Please pray for him to be able to speak someday and for their family. I want to tell you that I truly look forward to meeting with you all and Ray at the Rosary House. As soon as things settle down after all the health issues we are presently dealing with, we will be out to meet with you. In the meantime, we humbly request all your prayers. Urgent prayers are needed for my daughter-in-law, Lisa, who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Her pathology reports and treatment will be revealed to my daughter-in-law and son on this coming Friday. I believe in miracles. Lisa does not have a mother to go to and her father is ailing and in his 90's. I would appreciate prayers for a complete healing and no cancer in her lymph nodes or anywhere else in her body. I know God's hand is in our lives and I know that God can do all things.
Please prayer for Lisa who is a young mother of 8 and 9 year old boys.

I also ask for prayers for my daughter, Joanna, who is scheduled to undergo revisional rhinoplasty on Thursday, 6/22/06. She has a rare brittle bone disorder from birth and has had several fractures throughout her life. Joanna needs prayers for her surgery, that the hands of the Divine Physician will be the hands of the doctor. I trust that God will not permit anything to go wrong with the surgery, nor will there be any bad occurrences afterward. We need to pray for a miracle to cure Joanna of her rare bone disorder, so that she will be able to live a long and healthy and normal life. Dear God, please answer my requests for my family. Being so strong for seven years as my son battled CANCER and holding on to my faith even as my child was taken from this earth to be with Jesus.
I relied on prayers to get me through and looked to the Blessed Mother for guidance.
I am now having to become even stronger as my DAD was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer today. After seven years of taking care of my child, and only seven months that he left us my family is now put to the test to fight this awful disease again.
Please pray for William Smith , that a miracle will happen and the disease will not harm him and that he does not live in pain.

I was in our neighborhood pizzeria and somehow started talking to the owner Sandra who has a photo of Padre Pio on the wall in the back of their family restaurant...and we started a discussion of him (Padre Pio) and a long story short, she had mentioned that she was having some thyroid trouble and her son was going under some pre cancer testing when I becan to tell her about Ray and the Rosary House....I always keep a packet of healing oil in my purse for whoever is in need. I gave her the oil (she also recites the rosary every night faithfully so I asked her to bless herself and her son and since she will be unable to get up to see you guys for the rosary this Wednesday, she asked me if you would pray her, her son Gennaro Esposito as well as her family...

Hello to all,
Two years ago my grandmother was diagnosed with colon & liver cancer. She has since had part of her colon removed and has been through routine sessions of chemotherapy. Last week she received upsetting news from her CAT scan that her Cancer has aggressively spread back to her colon and lungs and doubled in size on her liver. Yesterday she was going to find out the prognosis but I have yet to hear the outcome or what we shall expect. My grandmother is a true fighter. It seems to me that age is only a number for her. She hikes, has recently written a book, a journal of her life as well as our entire family geneology and emails me quite frequently. It brings shock and sadness to think of someone seeming this healthy and youthful to maybe have a limited amount of time left. Can you please keep her and my entire family in your prayers as we all are? I greatly appreciate it.

Elizabeth has a new baby, her first child, a son who needs her well and healthy again, dearly. We humbly request your prayers, as my wife and I have prayed:
That the cancer be contained, and that the fine surgeons� hands be guided to remove all the cancer cells and that the surgeons� eyes be vigilant to find any other cancerous cells present, so they can be lasered; and that Elizabeth be not in pain, and that she rise above this illness, return to health and her loving baby, and her family who love her dearly.

Hello, My 10 year old daughter Taylor was diagnosed last summer with Diabetes.It has been a rollercoster ride ever since. Still unsure if she is a type 1 or type 2 we have been struggling to keep her blood sugar levels normal with both pills and insulin. I have been praying the rosary and have been praying to God to please send her some healing angels to help her find healing. A phone call from a friend this morning directed me to your website and Rays story. I think you all may be the angels I have been praying for. I would like to ask you to please remember Taylor in your prayers and ask God to bring healing to her so that she may live a normal life.What more can a mother ask for her child. My father is serioulsy ill with sepsis at St. Joe's Hospital in Paterson. Thye have been able to find the right combination of antibiotics to kill the bacteria raging through his system. Each day is critical because he is 83 and I don't kniw how much more his system can withstand. Please pray that they can find the right drugs to use to save him and heal him.

I wanted to ask you for your prayers for a friend of Nicole's who is only 6 years old, and she is having heart surgery at NYU tomorrow and we are praying for everything to go well. The family (mom and dad) have both been struggling to find decent work and please ask the Blessed Mother, St Ann and Jesus to help Erin make a full recovery and resume a normal life and help Erin's parents to find a way to afford the medical expenses.

Hi Deenie,
Was wondering if you can put my sister Clare on your prayer list, she is battling colon cancer and she just finished her last chemo treatment. Also to continue to pray for little Joseph who has a brain tumor. Hope to see you guys on the 26th. It has been difficult for me to get over there the past couple of months and I am still doctoring for this lingering bronchitis. Hope all is well with everyone.

Hi Guys,
This is Marianne Cassano from Old Bridge, my daughter, Nicole and I had been up for the rosary last Wednesday (actually Ash Wednesday) and I meant to contact you you earlier to ask Ray to say a prayer for a little boy who's only 20 months old (my girlfriend's nephew) who just underwent major heart surgery. His name is Nicholas Eckerd. They live out of state. Please ask the Blessed Mother to watch over him and his family and enable Nicholas to fully recover and allow him a normal life.

If you can please send his aunt some of the healing oil (I am not sure of the little boy's address) but I am sure she will make sure it gets to him. I would greatly appreciate it.

How are you all doing? I hope everything is wonderful with you and your families!! Thank you so much for all your prayers and all the help you gave to Pam and my family. I will forever thankful and grateful for meeting each of you and all the amazing people at the Rosary House. I know Pam is watching over us all, and is nolonger suffering and happy with her horses and corvette. Boy, I miss her lots!!

This is about Wayne's cousin Carol, sent to us by Carol's daughter, Robin. She was very sick and we mentioned her at the Rosary. I know a lot of her friends and family were praying for her too, but I have a feeling that the Rosary was very helpful in what the Drs. are calling "a miracle."

Hi Everyone. Carol wanted me to write to everyone to give you an update. On Friday she had the surgery to remove the trach. Everything went off without a hitch. The trach has been removed and she is 100% breathing on her own. When me and the girls got there last night she greeted us at the door with a big smile.
She looks great and her spirits and just the way they used to be. Her chart reads that she is coming home monday. We don't know her follow up at this point but the doctors called her a "miracle". After 5 weeks of being in the hospital we can not wait to get her home. I am sure by Monday night she will be back in full computer swing.

Once again, I just want you all to know how thankful we are for your friendship. When I asked her the other day if she was scared to come home she told me she was more scared to have the surgery because she was afraid something else would go wrong. She told me that she did not want to die because she has too much left to do. She told me that she is a very lucky woman. Of course for her family because we love and care for her so much but she also told me that since she got sick last year that her friends have all been there for her and that she realized how lucky she is to have all of you. So, thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. 4 weeks ago was not looking very good for mom, but someone loves her and knows how much we need her in our lives.

If you want to call her she will be at 609-893-6611 room 4403b until Monday and then you can call her at home.

I ask that you might consider praying for my son who was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease about a year ago. He is currently participating in an experimental drug program at Columbia University, and although there are approx. 20 different experiments going on across the country, I'm afraid time doesn't allow much hope of any of them benefiting him.

I found out about Ray through a friend who attended his Rosary a few weeks ago. I plan on making the trip to NJ this coming Wednesday. Please include him in your prayers.

Hello,

I wanted to see if you could do a special request for my boyfriend who I love with all my heart He has cerebral palsy though its only on his left side of his body. He has a mild case but he has no felling on his left are hand and leg. He doesn't have the strength or the ability to use that whole side. And not only that he also has seizers which are called folcol seizers. He get flutters in his eyes then his hand gets very bas headaches then his hand goes up it starts to shake his head moves back in forth more like side to side. He cant speak to u just hears what u are saying. He takes 3 different types of medication to help from getting them and as the doctors say to him is that he need to go to bed a lot eo earlier get more then 8 hours of sleep overnight that he cant be up to late and he cant have himself stress out or get overwhelmed with many things or he will go into a seizer. Which I have seen him go through it with in the 5 years that we have been together and it is very scary because when it happens he needs octagon right away to get himself out of it? Then goes to the hospital and deals with getting an iv put in him with the medication he needs to get back on his feet. But it leaves him so tired and just so drained out that he gets so depressed and just so tired that all he wants to do is sleep. And this can go on for a few days depending how bad is blood count was and how bad the seizer was. He also has no one eles in the family who has this problem nor does he know why he has this problem. And what worried him the most about this is because we have a 1 1/2 year old daughter together that he wants to be with and do things with that he cant do because of this and he wants to be able to see our daughter grow up with out thinking that he might get worse in the long run in his life. That what he fears the most. I think that's what I fear to not just with our daughter but with me to want him to be able to have that strength to and see him happy he deserves it. He is an excellent father and boyfriend. No one could ask for some as special as him. thank you for listening and to read what I have to say and GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Thank you very much for all that you have done for Dave and Carol.
Please continue to pray for them. I am Dave's brother and we lost our mother to cancer after a long and painful battle. Carol, Dave and their family have already been through more than enough. Carol really doesn't deserve any more health problems. Please ask God to reach down with his healing hand and mend the health and well-being of my brother's family, my sister Diane and her family, and myself and my family. I hope you received my prior message. Will you be calling my parents this Sunday? My father goes for radiation on Monday. Please ask Ray to pray for him that the radiation shrinks that tumor and the chemo gets rid of what is in his system. He has failed two regimens and is losing lung capacity. Please pray that his cough will become minimal and he will be able to breath.

Also pray for my mother to remain strong and keep her breast cancer in remission.

It was nice to speak with you on Monday. I wanted to send you a follow up note and give you a little back ground on my Parents. My mother had a younger sister who passed away two years ago from colorectal cancer. Shortly after she found out the she had breast cancer. Thankfully she has had surgery, chemo, and radiation and is completing a one year course of Herceptin. So far everything looks good. My father had a skin cancer removed nearly 5 years ago and they thought he was okay long term. Unfortunately, in June he was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma on his lung. He has not responded to the first chemo regimen, and he is now undergoing a second regimen. He will have chemo on Thursday, Radiation the following Monday and a series of tests to monitor his tumor the second week of February.

I am hopeful that you will be able to send both my mother and father some oil in the near future, and add them to for a personal prayer, if possible this Sunday evening, as they really need all the hope, faith, and prayer they can get at this time. Please pray that he responds to the chemo and radiation, and that his body�s immune system can fight the cancer.

My father is 60 and mother is 58, they still have a lot of life left in them and we pray that we have many more years to enjoy with such thoughtful and caring individuals.
